Bay Area native, Kalani Kelly, moved to Los Angeles in 2017 where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology at California State University of Northridge. Having a background in theater and modeling for national commercials and print, she discovered her passion to create and tell her own stories. She made her first short film, ‘Alder’, in 2018 and shortly after, began working at Blank Square Productions as a Production Assistant. Kelly’s intention is to create art that makes people feel, challenges normalized ideologies, and adds to the collective human consciousness. Her goal is to inspire other women to find the freedom to express themselves through their joy and passions.
